I'd say all orientation. I haven't played in group rps for about 3 or 4 years. But back when I did, I was able to explore a lot of different ualities and gender identities.
While with the one gender ones, you'd be hard pressed to find an one that would let you play a trans character (this is an anedote from a trans rp partner of mine that wanted to play trans characters in one gender rps).
From what I have seen, communities that are smaller also tend to be more inclusive. There aren't many people around so others will actually reach out and try to interact. The rps that I feel the most excluded are always the big ones, no matter the orientation. Maybe yuri is more inclusive exactly because it's a smaller niche. Also, rps in general tend to be inclusive, even the big ones, at least before everyone couples up. I think it's because people tend to " around" for a bit before settling down and end up interacting with more partners instead of sticking to the first interesting one they find.
I tend to avoid fast romance (ie any romance or takes like a month or two of characters getting to know each other for me to feel comfortable with it) and in my experience, I’ve been excluded more from one gender roleplays, while all orientation roleplays have had people more willing to explore platonic, non-ual plots so I’ve felt more included in them
I think all orientation is more inclusive...both aus and nonaus. like nonaus are for fun and chill talks. au all orientations ppl are willing to plot with you and all regardless of romance
feel like all orientation bc there is a better variety of people there you can interact w, platonically or not. in single orientation it kinda feels like im either chased after or ignored for whatever reason, and there is a sense of "i wont rly speak to you unless i wanna date you potentially" not that this isn't true in all orientation rps (its kind of a problem all over rpr) but i've felt it in the most in single orientation rps, which, makes sense since that is kind of the reason why they even exist. thats just my own personal experience w them tho, i have good and bad experiences in all kinds of rps so i try to keep an open mind if smthn interests me.
I mean you can say all can make you feel inclusive or exclusive but it really depends on who makes it and or who joins. I've joined a lot of rps and there are some that are really well put together and others that are clearly just thrown together for certain people to just be together. So it depends.
When playing a male fc, i feel more included in all male rps
When I play (bi, lesbian) female fc, I feel the most excluded at all-orientation roleplays.
I’ve been roleplaying since the aff days and the very first days of rpr. As female, male, bottom, top, dom, sub, switch, old fc, younger fc, and all through 2nd to 4th gen. As 2nd and 3gen idols in new rps, as popular faces and really not that popular. Mostly gay or bi.
