✕ from the admin: this is what i had in mind so far for the plot/setting for the new a/b/o rp that i'm designing. i am wondering if this has enough fantasy elements for those that wanted a more fantastical setting, but also modern enough for those that wanted that. it is set in the solaria universe, but in the far future. so there are still strong beliefs in gods/goddesses, some magical elements, and a fantastical setting, but there is a main city which will have modernized and grown away from that. the history of solaria (for those who are familiar with it) will be preserved and considered a legendary story of how the solar and lunar packs reunited after centuries of war and difference. you may play distant relatives of former characters from there. if this is not medieval or fantastical enough, however, i may consider revamping the timeline entirely and designing the rp to focus on the neighboring kingdom, where the events will happen adjacent to solaria's original timeline.

Unlike the distant land of Solaria that claims the son and moon are estranged lovers, the kingdom of Soleluna has a differing view.
According to legend, there were once two siblings, Dalsun and Haeshik, who were pursued by a tiger that had devoured their mother. They prayed so hard to survive that a rope descended from the heavens and allowed the two to climb to safety, where they became the sun and the moon.
The king of Gamangnara - the kingdom of darkness - sought to pluck the Sun and the Moon from the sky for himself to bring light for his people. He sent his hounds, the Bulgae, to capture them. However, when the first Bulgae tried to bite the Sun, it was hot and the beast couldn't hold onto it. The second tried to claim the Moon, but it was too icy. The king didn't give up, though, and it is said that the lunar and solar eclipses are a sign that the dogs are back at it. The darkness is them biting at their heels, trying to steal the sun and the moon from the sky.
However, that isn't the whole story. After many failed attempts to capture the Sun and the Moon, the Bulgae realized that they would never succeed, but they couldn't go back to their greedy king with their tails tucked between their legs. They decided to stay beneath the Sun and the Moon's watchful gaze and protect them from the king. the solar and lunar eclipses are actually the bulgae hiding the siblings from him. They passed this reverence down to their progency (wolves), who grew up in the light and earned the sibling's blessing.
Wolves have come to revere the Sun and the Moon equally in Soleluna. Those that call Haeshik their patron are often blessed with the innate ability to withstand heat and possess warm-colored coats (brown, tan, red). Wolves that align more with Dalsun have an affinity for ice and their coats are more cool toned (white, grey). However, it is said that in times of great peril, the wolves of the past awakened the power of both - The Blue Flame - that manifests itself as whatever they need to change the tide in their favor.
Nowadays, wolves have come to interpret the stories in their own way. Many strive to find a sense of balance within themselves - Their own inner Blue Flame.

pack 1 name: a pack that has fully embraced a modern life in the city. many are prominent figures, businessmen, and politicians that have some manner of control and influence over the city's growth.
pack 2 name: this pack is more in tune with nature. many practice holistic medicine, are superstitious, and believe in the concept of fate.
however, it is not abnormal for wolves to have small or familial-focused packs with their own set of values. over time, there is no telling how these may grow within the community.
