The war in Zamboanga is on-going but now in it's 4th day, we have good feedback at least with the GRP faction having taken control over the mosques and elementary schools from the MNLF Misuari faction. Sadly, there are more pressing matters. Lower part of Mindanao, Abu Sayyaf and BIFF had joined the MNLF Misuari faction and is showing support to Misuari's cause. Buildings are burning, mostly civilian properties, which, under the International Humanitarian Law, is a violation under its creed. I understand that they have their own beliefs they fight for but to bypass the law of war is a crime. I just wish, that although Misuari has asked for a ceasefire (and this is a very controversial request; they're probably losing ammo), I hope they face due charges.
But most importantly, to all my friends here, I ask for your help by praying for my country, for Zamboanga among others.
