I didn’t know that I will make another blog post so fast so far. LOL. I was actually thinking about making an album review of Block B’s 3rd mini album after their 1st full length album, Very Good. So, here I am.
Finally after a whole one year, facing controversy after controversy they finally made comeback. Even though, there was 0000000000.1 percent of chance of them coming back. And people even anticipated them to disband.
Well, for me it was not. Because I was sure as hell that they will comeback. Because I believed in them and also Zico kept on releasing his mix tapes as a proof that he is actually working hard.
Okay, scratch that. I am not here to whine about the misery but to make an album review so…
Oh. Before that they have their first win today on inkigayo, for the first time, beating G.Dragon and Busker Busker. And I still have stains of tears in my cheek. OTL. How can I possibly not cry? Did you see Zico’s expression though? He was like—what the hell just happened? We WON???? He is sooo cuteeeeee.
Anywayyyy, I digress again. Back to the topic.
There are basically only 5 songs. Too bad. And not to include instrumental of Very Good, it becomes only 4.
But they made comeback. So, kudos to that!
1. Be The Light
2. Very Good
3. When Where What How (Park Kyung’s solo feat. Urban Zakap’s Jo Hyunah)
4. Nice Day
5. Very Good, Instrumental
1. Be The Light
This is my favorite song from this album. This song is so beautiful. Everyone has sung this song so heart-fully. And also the lyrics are so touching. ZicoILoveYou. Okay, maybe also because we all have been waiting for them for like whole year not being sure of whether they will even make comeback or not.
And at such condition, while all the BBCs were having mental breakdown, even just simple news of Block B’s coming back already made our heart jump in cloud 9. And this song snowed upon us.
Be the light
Shine on my black and hidden heart
Melt me from being frozen
So that I’ll be so dazzling
That no one else can look at me
Doesn’t it speak up their heart, while they were also scared whether they will make comeback and whether BBCs will even wait for them or not. It surely talks about their plea for us, BBCs.
Bottom-line, plainly light and amazing.
2. Very Good
Very good was like a confirmation song to make us sure that Block B is still a Block B. It was the song that we all were waiting for. They were back with that confidence, boldness and with all that randomness. And they were just having fun! Damn care!
And while the first thing I hear was Zico’s ‘ol mighty-ugly-monster laugh then, what else I need to wait for in order to love this song in no time.
And when Zico be like What can I do for you, huh?
And I be like Nothing much. Just marry me. /shrugs/
When Where What How
When Where What How the hell, Kyung??
This song is now listed in my ‘ol time favorite song. Right after G.D’s That xx and Zico’s wake me up.
This song is so y and sensual. Okay. The greasy-greasy-cheesy-cheesy-prince Kyung is back getting greasier, cheesier and rather ier. OTL.
And that kyung's englith pronunciation of It's 11 0'clock, though. What time is it, y?
/runs after zico/ But I only love YOUUUUU~!!!
4. Nice Day
I like this song, okay. This song is quite different than general Block B type songs. It’s so different and in a completely good way.
I can still bob my head hearing this song, singing along. It’s so catchy!
It’s Z Ah CO, Please~
Also I have come to that stage of being a Block B fan-girl that I will love whatever they will provide us as a music. Suddenly thinks about EXO’s Wolf.
Okay, maybe not.
And I don’t think I have to say anything about the instrumental.
The only flaw that ‘Very Good’ have is that it is too short. Only with five four song to be exact and one solo on the top of that.
Scratch that. Keep repeating and listen to ‘em.
I love Block B.
I love ZICO. Kyung-Pyo-BBomb-Jaehyo-Taeil-Ukwon. <3
I am BBC, forever.
Ppyong~!!
