This happened yesterday after my classmate and I played basketball for our intramurals against another section.
We went to our gymnasium with 2 of my other classmates, a girl and a boy.
The girl was our representative and the boy was our coach.
We were all girls and most of us don't really know what to do so we asked him to be our 'coach'.
When the game ended, I wasn't really sure who won.
Suddenly, I saw my guy classmate, our 'coach', approaching me.
As he walked towards me, I planned on asking him 'Tayo ba yung nanalo?' (Are we the winner?/Did we win?).
And as he approached me, the words that slipped off my mouth was wrong.
Instead of asking him the right words, I asked 'Tayo ba...?' (Are we...?).
And sometimes, if you ask that in our language, it means something like 'Are we together?' or 'Are we in a relationship?'. Like that.
At first I wasn't surprised at my question and I waited for him to answer but after a few miliseconds, I then realized what I really said.
And when I saw the expression on his face, it was epic! Hahahah!
He looked so surprised that his eyes got wider. O_O
I was shocked too and we stared at each other's eyes for a few miliseconds before we headed the opposite directions.
Me, going to get my bottle of water to drink and he congratulated my other teammates.
I was really out of my mind, wondering what just happened so I can't remember if I asked him the right question.
I was so embarrassed. Huhuhuhuhu. I hope he'll just forget it :"< :">
