Have any of you ever seen or heard of Tony Jaa? Gosh this guy is amazing! He's my role model martial arts wise next to Bruce Lee. The first movie of his that I watched was 'Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior' which is about a young man named 'Ting' who has to retrieve the head of his villages sacred statue that's been stolen.
The plot may seem kind of predictable at times, but over all a pretty amazing movie if you ask me. And the fight scenes are amazing too of course.
The second movie I watched was 'The Protector' or 'Tum Yum Goong' in the original Thai version. It's about a character who has to get his stolen elephant back from thieves and what not so might be the same as Ong Bak but with an elephant I guess? It's different though in my opinion ^^; And I saw a couple other movies to such as Ong Bak 2 (No relation to the first movie) and Ong Bak 3 which I can't remember since it's been so long since I last saw them.
Either way if you're a martial arts fan and looking for more artists this is the guy I highly recommend! No wires, no stunt doubles, hardly any CGI effects in certain movies.
And if you're curious here's a video clip of him performing on a stage :3
