You were together, he became famous and left because he knew he wouldn't have time for you, and few years later he visits and you have a kid.

Your best friends, one became famous and left for a while, you show up and everything comes back- you confess your feelings backstage at a show and he/she tells you he doesn't love you so it can go back to normal without you around after so long; plot goes from there.

Anything else you can possibly come up with that would just make you want to cry OTL I'm sorry, I'm down.
