okay so i have a new idea for a set of rps
they'd be called 'welcome to london', 'bienvenido a barcelona', 'bienvenue à paris' and 'willkommen zu munich'
basically, english is my first language and i know it really well, i speak reasonably good spanish and french, but i only know like two things in german and the way i said welcome to munich was probably wrong (by the way i know that barcelona and munich aren't the capitols of germany and spain), and also if you know what it's like in munich or any other german city (we can change it)
also i need someone who knows about what it's like in a spanish city (not necessarily barcelona, again we can change it). (my spanish is sufficient for this purpose so it's fine if you speak another dialect).
we'd probably do the london and paris ones first because i can make a good start on it without help.
obviously the rp is done in english but all the rooms and signs and things are in the national language of the country (with english translation since that's our common point).
the concept of the rps are built around an actual society, so if you're helping me i'd appreciate if you have an actual understanding of the taxing and concil concepts of the country.
i want to encourage an rp that builds a realistic perception of society; where you age in an actual time (not real time, we'll work this out), you have to go out to work and school, and you get payed in activity points. also to get rid of this whole idea where literally every roleplays as single asians between the ages of 16 and 30, because that's not interesting. once i was part of a french rp where they only allowed asians, which is entirely unrealistic because the demographic or france is 85% white.
everyone is allowed and welcomed, all ages, all races, all types of characters: real people, OCs, fictional characters, whatever really. i want to get rid of this agist (again, you rarely see active characters under 17ish and over 26ish), ist (if you rp as a women you get totally ignored), racist (this whole asian only thing), heterophobic (people who rp straight often feel left out of rps), misogynistic (same as ist), hypocritical (it's been set up by mostly straight, white, young girls) society we've built that has driven a lot of people away from rping in roleplays by introducing a new concept.
