MALUS
___________________________________________
World explanation;
Coming into the 31st century, the world has taken a huge change. For the best or for the worst? That's uncertain. On one hand, you have the city of Albus Civitatem, litterally the white city. Everything in Albus is beautiful, clean, and essentially perfect. How perfect can it really be? On it's side exists the rebels and the unseen, Malus Tenebris - The city of the rehected and the criminal. The imperfect.
Shifting from Albus to Malus is infact too easy. All crimes are punished with banishment... not matter how miniscule the mistake. And most don't even survive when they cross the border.
The Character I would like to portay; Park Chanyeol.
His Background -
Chanyeol doesn’t remember much of his life before he was outcasted to the Malus Tenebris. In fact he doesn’t remember much of his past family at all. Shattered fragments of his past litter his imagination and even now he has trouble fitting them together. His father disapproved of him from birth, he never believed in him and that somewhat led Chanyeol to think the same. He would often avoid coming home after school, spending hours to play alone with his basketball to be rid of the disapproving stares. He was bullied hideously, and when he began boycotting school to avoid them his Mother finally spoke up; whispering to Chanyeol, begging him to be a well behaved child, to go to school, to study and be successful like his sister. She was terrified of him being sent to Malus, but as time went on it seemed inevitable.
Chanyeol was caught with drugs at age 16 and was sent to Malus soon after.
There he works as a dealer, selling substances to those who have the cash to reap it from his fingertips. He takes a lot of it himself too, the drugs that is, and more often than not there is the trail of cigarette smike floating out from his oversized hood, his form to pasty and thin to even fill out the sleeves anymore. Many avoid him, even more fear him, but no one seems to realise behind his hood; he is really a lost boy who no one has ever believed in.

Writing Sample/ Character Introduction;
Hood draped firmly over his shaggy hair, sleeves dipping long to fill the pockets of his hoodie, Chanyeol balanced precariously against the chaffing alley-wall. The night was bitter and laced with mist, only adding to the secretion of evil in the air. It was one hell of a night to be working, the teen could barely see his own pair of sneakers, let alone anyone that may be coming to sneak up on him. Pfft, he would let them anyway, what was the worst they could do? Kill him? Hah, that was a joke. He’d tried it before…… maybe they’d do a better job than him.
Chanyeol was first alerted to another’s presence when the sharp sound of shallow footsteps hit his eardrums, he paused, removing his cigarette from his lips before turning his head to look down the alley way, curious as to who would be out at this time, in this weather of all things. His head fell back against the wall, his neck straining as he held back in wheeze just as the figure appeared out the fog. Male, tall, with jet black eyes that clearly marked him as ‘monstrum’; Chanyeol raised an eyebrow as he approached. He didn’t usually sell to these kind of figures, not that it was going to stop him of course, it was merely an observation, a curious one at that.
"What are you doing out here, kid?"
Kid? Chanyeol chuckled darkly, raising his roll of nicotine to his lips once again, inhaling deeply and blowing smoke out between his teeth. What was he doing out here? Now that’s a funny statement, either this guy was trying to make sure he had the right man, or maybe he was just stupid. “What’s it to you, sir?” Chanyeol shook his head, looking back down the alley
