ugh for s sake

As someone who works with animals as a professional I think it depends. It's a mystery to me. A lot of the "emotions" I see are just instinctive reactions towards their "pack member" aka their human. However, I also have seen a select few that seem to surpass that basic instinct.

A prime example would be Hatchiko.
How you can read about that dog and not see the devotion, loyalty, and unconditional love he had for his owner.

Whoever says they don't are...yeah I have no words for them. I have a couple cats for example and they most certainly do have personalities and feelings. Anyone who says otherwise is foolish.
