Really? Is this what we're doing now?

So, I go to turn on my laptop right knowing I need a new battery, but that's why we have the external power cord that plugs into the wall. I turn it on and notice that something is amiss, it's getting ready to turn off so I do the only sensible thing and check to see if I plugged it up. All's good. I check it again and low and behold it's still about to die on me. Then the realization hits me: my cord is dead. Dead as the tree that paper is made out of. Well . I'm reduced to online access via my cellphone. To make a long story short I probably won't be online for a while and if I am, I won't be on for long. Don't you just love technology?
