Well lately I've been re reading Stephen King's 'Pet Sematary'. I know many people find it terrifying and it is kind of scary, but, I personally found it more sad in a way rather then scary. It's about a man named Louis Creed who moves to a small town of Ludlow, Maine settling in a new home with his family. One of the neighbors an older man named Jud Crandall tells him later on that beyond the Pet Cemetery there's an old Micmac Burial Ground: It's a place where if you lose a loved one be it a pet or a person, they'll come back to life except....they aren't the same as they were when they were alive.
After Louis loses his three year old son, he digs his body up and buries him in the burial ground only to have his son's spirit posessed by a creature known as the Wendigo.
Louis is then forced to have to have his son killed again in order to stop him after the boy kills the wife Rachel.
A very tragic story, yet intriguing as well. It kind of teaches you a little about death as well I think, that sometimes as sad as it can be it is a natural part of life unfortunately. And...to never bury a person in a cursed Indian Burial Ground either X'3 But anyway. If you're a fan of these type of novels I highly recommend it ^^ The movie is pretty good as well but I like the first one so much better then the second one .___. The second Pet Sematery just...wasn't very good in my opinion.
But anywho.
If you're looking for a good read try it :) You won't be disappointed.
