Q: Why do you like Exo?

To the anon that asked, i don't know if here or somewhere, my answer was cut by ask.fm. here's my full answer. i figured i'll just show everyone too. there's still more reasons, but if i put all all, my answer would be way toooooo long.

Sometimes I ask myself the same question. 

Why do I like them...?
There's a lot of reasons, tbh. So I hope you like long answers. I really do take time in doing these kinds of questions. 
 

•Their songs are not too... rock-ish. Like, there's more singing part than rapping. Well it doesn't apply in all songs, but do you get my gist? I don't really like songs full of rap and stuff. HOWEVER, I do like the rap parts because KRIS, TAO, CHANYEOL, AND SEHUN YO
 

•People might argue about this, but I love their personalities and how they act on cam. Have you seen EXO's Showtime? They basically made a fool of themselves 80% of the time. Because that's how they are, they love joking around and having fun. And Kris? I love him and his personality the most. Before the show started, I already know his coldness is just a mask, but I didn't expect him to be a huge uh... dork and soft guy... Kai too. He looks so y and alluring when he's just really a childish maknae who can be more mature than his hyungs. Oh, he can be shy too. Yeah, you might tell me that this is just for act, but that's how I see them.
 

•Their songs relaxes me. I can be so mad and hate and glare at everything and everyone I see to the point that even my family and friends would leave me alone because they know something bad will happen if they won't, but I'll just play EXO's songs on my earphones with almost full volume and close my eyes, my anger will suddenly subside. This doesn't happen for other bands, only for EXO. One time I was mad, and one random song played since my phone is always on shuffle, and I glared at my phone, stopped the song and played Peter Pan. Oh. And when I have a long night where I can't sleep because stupid insomia strikes, I have to play an EXO song. Well, I leave my phone on playing songs every night and it will just stop from a timer until I fall asleep. The first song I always play is EXO and I get to sleep while listening to their voice^^
 

•They were the ones there when I needed help. There would always be an issue in my family and sometimes I'm just mad and sometimes I cry. When times like those occur, I just close my eyes and listen to their songs. Oh. And take it out on dancing. I'd always dance to their songs over and over again until I get tired and my mind would be blank. I may never be the best dancer, but at least I feel free and poweful when I dance to their songs. Sometimes when I'm so tired, I'll just look at their pictures and watch a few videos then I'll get energized. And school. Like I said, I'm a freaking nerd. I join all academic competitions out there and work hard on projects and essays. That resulted in me staying up late until dawn or not sleep at all. During those nights, I'd play EXO on the background, and I'll feel like I have someone with me. Idk if that makes sense, it's kinda hard to describe. So yeah, I use EXO as an escape and distraction from the real world. They helped me a lot. 
 

•EXO made me feel feelings I never thought I'd feel. Wow, they're my first heartbreak. It's hard to explain this so I hope you can get what I mean...
 

•They're freaking flower boys. I love flower boys. EXO is a flower boy band. Well for me they are. HAVE YOU SEEN THEIR MOTHER FUDGING FACES. IT LOOKS FREAKING ANGELIC AND ASDFGHJKL PERFECT.
