BIO: Youngdeuk was born first, oldest of twin boys in the city of Seoul. He grew up in the city as well, along with his mother and his twin. Aside from those two, nobody else was around as much so Deuk had to look out for himself and his mother, and his brother. As soon as he reached age five, he started to become more independent. His mother had to work while they were in school and practice in the night. She was a ballerina but after getting pregnant, she couldn't get back into the groove of that lifestyle anymore. But she never stopped practicing. She inspired Deuk to dance as well. Growing up, they didn't always have the best things but there was always a lot of music from hip hop to jazz to classical so the twins were exposed to a lot of different types of music and dance besides ballet. Favoring hiphop the most, they started watching videos and imitating the dances there. They used to have battles against each other, showcasing new moves they learned at school, home, and even the grocery store. Sometimes it did get them into trouble though, for no paying attention in class but all in all, they did well inside of school. Outside of school got harder for them as they entered their teen years. They were avid in more competions whether they were formal, or on the streets for more cash. By this time, they had already made a name for themselves among the streetdancers of Seoul, but dancing wasn't their job. Even though, it was something they were best at, Deuk still had to find a way to help his mother out. While in school, he got a job working at a convenience store to bring in more money so his mom wouldn't have to work so hard. After all, she did raise two wild boys, but they did everything together so it wasn't too hard, just a bit crazy. Don brought it to Deuk's attention that there was a camp helping people get to WODk, and they had to jump at the chance. Deuk was determined, and confident that they could win, but getting into the competition had a lot of technicalities and he was more that a bit rough on the rules. So he agreed to go, and they packed up and headed to the camp to practice and have a better chance at winning this competition.
PERSONALITY: Deuk is a caring person a natural leader. Family is the most important thing to him so that's why he works so hard to be the best so he can support his family, while keeping himself sane as well. Aside from dancing he likes various sports. He's not really smiley, he's pretty mellow when he's not joking around. Deuk would be one to help you practice if you don't understand something yet. You could say he's a strong and silent type.
