Growing up, Park Chanyeol the Third, was always the unwanted prince. Loud, boisterous, playful and usually ignored. All he ever wanted was just a little attention… someone to play with him. That would be nice.
But that was not what he was in line for, his father was the king of a reasonably large area and being his son Chanyeol was supposed to be intelligent, charming, calm and collected. And well…. he just wasn’t.
Thankfully, Chanyeol had an older sister who was everything his parents could have wanted, and leaving her in line they didn’t particularly care what Chanyeol did, as long as no one knew who he was, he stayed out the way… and he didn’t give the family name any blemishes. Royal blood just wasn’t something that ran smoothly in Chanyeol and so he had been happy to just do that.
When Chanyeol turned eighteen, and he was fit to become presented to the public, his parents panicked. No one could know about Chanyeol the failure and so desperately they tried to shrug him off somewhere. A villa in hawaii, an apartment in Seoul with plenty of… maids. Anything as long as no one could find out who he was.
Chanyeol opted for a rundown old station wagon, his guitar and a camera. Why did he have to stay in one place at once? With the boot taken out and replaced by a mattress, a few duffle bags jammed next to it. He couldn’t have been happier. Winding the windows down, singing out loud onto the highway and stopping to take a picture of the sunset.
Chanyeol belongs nowhere, and to no one. Sometimes he’s in town for 24 hours, sometimes a week. He leaves when his internal clock changes and he wind encourages him to see places he hasn’t seen before.
But trouble might just arise when Chanyeol's sister falls fatally ill.
