Writers's Tip

(Will be making a fanfic call Otaku's Writer Tips Soon; To store all of these)

Fanfics to Books, Pen Names and Fanfic Description

Turning your fanfic into a book:

I plan to do so and there isn't really a whole lot needed to be done...well that's if you already written a book/completed fanfic. Money will be involved so make sure you have some hundreds in advance for an editor. Also, look up book manuscript. I will advise you to start writing you're fanfics like that in advance (5 spaces before each paragraph, no line spaces). But, then you don't have too, you can contact your editor to see if they can do it for you.

You can either self publish it afterwards on Amazon on other websites. Then again, you can go down the long path of publishing companies you may be rejected a couple times. Ouch, that might hurt, but if you have a bad book, go ahead. But, keep in mind, they get some of the money afterwards. Yes, money counts ^^

Anyhow a novel is at least 100,000 word count in total, so keep that in mind also. What does that book look like, well Twilight the first book is 118,501 words.

Now for the name, I mean you can always use a Pen Name. You may be a writer of multiple genres; a, fantasy, adventure. And yes, won't be used, it will be called a if you are publishing a book.

For me, I will most likely use my first name, since most of you know it on here....then again I might use a different name. I'm not sure...since I don't want my family to know I write a...not sure...and if it was to get popular...I don't know.

Anyhow, just know you don't have to use you're real name! Be unique, but make it seem like a real name.

Fanfic Description:

The very first sentence, no, the very first word counts! I see multiple people start descriptions off like I see some books in library's

Ex:

Mark is a boy who live in a small town....

Me, as soon as I read that, I would....

Yes, off to the next book my dear.

Why? What's wrong with it? It could be a good book.

You're right, it could be and I missed it with that dull, boring and predictable profile like sentence.

Remember, that you're words must be unpredictable just as the story should be. No, I'm not saying to use large strenuous onerous words that a lot of people may not know. Some may know, but don't be so difficult and not so easy either. Start your description with a hook like an example from my newest fanfic- Removing The Blind Fold.

Alcohol soaked lies of betrayal were poured over my head and my shoulders shook with shame

But, I had to always remember who I betrayed first

It didn't matter if my knees burned from begging on the ground or if I brought more glory, I couldn't receive...

Forgiveness

It would be best start off with the emotional thoughts of a character within the story. If it's third POV, then just replace my with her and I with she. Simple as that.
