This morning 2 have died in Sydney Australia after a gunman created a hostage situation at 9.44 am yesterday.
At 2 am this morning the gunman opened fire inside the cafe and police stormed the building. The gunman was killed. 2 innocent people were unable to survive 4 other were injured including a police man.
17 hostages in total were held for 17 hours by a man well known to police.
This morning is a devastating morning for everyone. To think that 9 days before Christmas two families have lost family members... and the 15 other people will never be the same.
My thoughts, prayers and well wishes go to everyone involved. It's time for Australia to stand together and prove that we can all stand together.
A horrible day... but a day to prove Australia's strength.
