I remember when I joined to choir for the first time they gave us this really beautiful song, and I fell in love with lyrics of it.
But, it was only a lyric sheet and I didn't know the original.... I searched for ages, but just couldn't find it.
I endered up using it for an audition for a selective choir that would tour in sydney, and I just sung the lyrics and I barely even remember the audition cause I was in year five for crying out loud.
I passed. My dad didn't let me go for.... well yeah, constantly high abusive reasons. But I was so stunned that I even passed that when I changed school I kept the lyrics. Just cause they meant even more to me now.
Having just moved interstate I just found them in a box... I can still remember the tune....
On a whim I searched it. And I'm like legit crying with memories right now because I found it. Finally.
The one we used to sing too had piano backing which I'd love to find a version of, but here is the song. It's called Arlington. I dunno I just really love the lyrics of this song....
