Thank you very much for the 6,000 subscribers I have now reached on Exotic Nights! As a gift, I thought to share on how I came up with the story, plots and even characters. I wrote this in January of 2013 and now it's been over two years since I've written it.
Back then, everyone was crazy about Exo, especially since their debut was in 2012. Super Junior fanfiction here on AFF had been dominated by Exo. Ha, yes I remember perfectly.
Inspiration:
I had read my first fanfiction by makichan, which was her popular fanfic Pleasure Slave and some other one that was based on a girl being forced to have with many men. You know as a fan-girl it's almost a thrill to read when it's your fave idol(Exo), which is still dominating more fanfics in AFF than ever.
At first I thought to write a spin off of Pleasure Slave, but I didn't want to gain popularity and reads because of some other author works.(But, I do plan to make a tribute to her later) So, I decided to change it up, to make it my own you know. As for the ideas of the kidnapping, revenge, love, drama, suicide, murder, siblings and more, I can't say they come from anything. I just put things together that I see in real life or what should happen in real life to make it dramatic. But, I will say in general, that my drama writing comes from watching K-Dramas. :)
I will also say music did strongly inspire me in Exotic Nights. The music and the words led to scenes being played in my head. It's the emotion I felt and what I expressed from finger tips through the characters.

As for the characters, I had a certain two mixed up, because I was just learning who was who in Exo. To be honest with you all, Sehun was suppose to be Kris, but by the time I learned that, I had already used Kris and Sehun in the story, so I just went along with Sehun.
Due to it being Sehun, his personality was a bit softer than it would have been with Kris.
If it was Kris, I think it would have been a fair battle against Kai. XD
(Which is why I have Kris VS Kai in Cigars On Ice)
Anyhow, that's how the story turned out, but I regret nothing.
I also like to say that this was the story that I had the best comment I had ever seen. There are too many comments to go through to find it, but I can remember it. It said:
Why don't Sehun, Kai and Mayuko have a and get the over with it.
I LMAO~ because it makes sense, but yeah that would never happen.
As always, I loved the other comments as well. I read them to brighten up my heart when I'm down.
I also have some funny comments in my Cigars On Ice Story, but I'll talk about that in another blog. I know this wasn't a lot on inspiring thoughts, but Exotic Nights just popped out of my head like a baby being born. Mian~ My other fanfics go more in detail.
