actualy ... it's just my personal opinion but it woud've been better to stop at season 1
because now they are in the present time and .... a Half Demon (Gumiho) Boy in the present time doesn't sound too good
i mean just think at all the CGI they would have to put once Kang Chi would start fighting and all
and yeah i know if someone knows something about CGI and to make it look badass as fk those are asians and nobody can say is not true
if in the 2nd season the storyline still takes place in the past era then i would love to see a lonely KangChi in his journey and showing us trough what he got in all those years ~
but i don't want a season 2 in the present timeline with a KangChi seeking a rebirth of YeoWool and fighting crime and bad guys and throwing them off rooftops and trough bulding walls and running from the police to save his secret
i mean srsly we have Marvel and DC to stuff our brains with those kind of things
and if by any chance a 2nd season of Gu Family Book will be made, i won't watch it
because i want to remain with that beautiful story of a human and a demon (gumiho) loving eachother till death and even beyond that to the point where he finaly meets her and they let us choose our own ending
i have friends that chose to think the ending is KangChi going after YeoWool and trying to tell her everything
some that chose to think KangChi will just pretend he didn't know her and just try and start something knew
as for me ....
i chose the ending where Kang Chi is happy he saw her again and thinking that it's the best to let her go now that he finaly meet her and know she's good
looking back at the story , after all they've been trough at the ending i chose to think of KangChi woud've never try to reach for her , knowing how she died ... to protect him , he woud've just let it go ~
so the answer at your question is no .. i don't wanna see a season 2 since i already have the image of a perfect ending in my head
i don't need a second season to turn a beautiful story into some modern vigilante story where the girl always gets in danger , the hero saves her , later shows up someone that finds out about the hero's true identity and become his nemesis , probably try to steal his girl , things gets complicated and repetitive
i mean srsly ... we have , SmallVille , Arrow and a lot more others there for this please dont fk up a beautiful story like Gu Family Book ~
