I feel like there is no variety in the characters on roleplays here nowadays.
Going from one roleplay to another, it seems like it's always the same people who are taken everywhere.
Mostly the younger, newer, popular groups like EXO, BTS, and such.
All the other groups are getting neglected and, from experience, if you play as someone from a group that has been established longer then you tend to get ignored. (Except for SM groups. They are a special breed -___- )
AU roleplays are a bit easier to interact with people on since there is a lot of freedom with original character creation.
But on non-AUs if you play someone from 2PM, Big Bang, and any of the other groups which are not the new, young, hot things in the spotlight (even Infinite nowadays) then you are practically dooming yourself to being without your group members since people never join as any of them.
Playing as one of the sunbaes, you are lucky if the hoobae roleplayers even know anything about you beyond the fact that they know you are one of their superiors and they should respect you.
I've had characters come up to me and act like our characters have never met, but in real life they actually have interacted a lot!
I don't know... Maybe it's just me feeling this way because I've been a fan of K-Pop for a long time and in the RP scene for even longer than that.
So I miss the times when roleplays were well-balanced and not dominated by just a small few groups.
