Favorite American Artists?(Non-Kpop)
We all share some type of interest to some type of an Asian artists, particularly being those that belong to the K-Pop genre here or at least I presume we do.
I was starting to wonder what was your favorite American artists or in general Non-Kpop artists. I mean they could be from India or even Great Britain. As for me, American since I am from America after all OTL
What's favorite songs from them and is there a reason why they are your favorite?
Are you a bey hive or belieber of any sort?
As for me, I generally have three artists that I am highly inspired and strongly infatuated with due to their style and even more their view point of the world or even the more the universe which is reflected in their music.
1. Lana Del Rey
I don't know a song by her that I don't like. All her lyrics are ing gold. I think better than anybody she knows how to express the emotions of sadness in complete serenity and even chaos. Her past is really heart breaking, but it proves she is strong for her to have not kill herself yet. She really just learned a better understanding of this freaking cruel world.
Also, she is number one inspiration to my character in H.U

2. Nicki Minaj
I've always been magnetized to her strong feminine image of beauty even before she became extremely ual. Personally, I am infatuated with women that wear makeup and dress up like beauty queens or baby dolls. Even more than her beauty, I like the messages she tries to convey in her songs. I'm sure many people don't see past the big a** and the vulgar words, but Ms.Minaj is very political.
3. The Weeknd
Oh. My. ing...edy Gosh.
He has stolen my favorite male artists trophy from Trey Songz and don't let me tell you how much I love Trigger, but The Weeknd(Able Tesfaye) is genuine. He is gold.
He is weird and trust me weird is good, it just means he is not like the 'norm'. In his book, normal is ugly. I've knew him since Wicked Games, but when I heard his entire Kiss Land album, I was gone and I mean gone from planet earth! He is ecstasy in it's truest form. The successor of MJ. The epitome of a man. He is an artist. He is meant for me. XD JK He belongs to the world~
His music, lyrics and symbolism is the equilibrium of life. I feel the sensations of despair, happiness, ecstasy, lust, desperateness, and even sin since we are sinful beings after all. He is the freaking universe. I'm done spazzing now....I could go all day with him. XO---Comment if you a XO girl/boy!
For other artists that I do admire as being an entertainer would be Beyonce. You know she basically rules America (Music Industry) these days. I love the messages she puts through music. She is freaking awesome when it comes to the dancing and controlling the stage. I mean 'god damn' she is flawless when it comes to that, but she doesn't reach me on an emotional scale, but she is worth mentioning of course.
Hmmm, that's all I can think of now.
