I wasn't always a Ghost Adventures fan mind you

When I first heard of Zak Bagans I thought the same thing most others thought about him: 'He's too arrogan; He has no respect for the dead he's only exploiting them for his own gain' He doesn't really care about fans. 'He's in it for the money' you know the typical thoughts an anti or skeptic has. However, the more I got into Ghost Adventures from 2009 up until this year I could really see the growth in him and the rest of his crew.

They aren't just in it for the money (although I know it could be some but I don't believe it's his only reason) like I blindly assumed from the beginning. After watching Aftershocks, seeing him talk with victims of spiritual attachments and the such you can see it that he's genuinely concerned and really wants to help people who have no one else to go to with this kind of thing.

That's why I have so much respect for Ghost Adventures, people on Dead Files, Paranormal State etc. These groups are so wonderful and you can tell how passionate they are in doing what they do. If Zak didn't care about his show I think he would have dropped it a long time ago and moved on to something else but no.

Hell he even put up a suicide prevention number on last night's episode (I know other shows do that) but after hearing one personal experience I could tell he was serious about putting that number up to save someone's life possibly.

And speaking of judging: Same goes to someone who claims to have had a paranormal encounter. Those can be scary as hell for many people around the world and it's not easy for them to admit if they've been attacked by a long dead someone or something demonic after reading countless articles and biography's I don't think it hurts asking of course if what happened really happened-you have to get proper facts after all.

Don't bully someone or mock them if they come to you saying 'I think my home is haunted'. LISTEN to them. Get the facts before you judge. I've had family members admit things and you can really see true fear in their eyes when they tell their story.

....Crap I think I went off topic again. Sorry heh

But after watching Aftershocks again last night, I finally realized now how much passion Zak and the guys have doing what they do. It isn't just a mere job to them. You may think I'm a little odd for writing this but am I any different from a Kpop or Jrock fan who respects/admires their favorite artist? I certainly don't think so.

So this is why I admire Ghost Adventures so much. They really inspire me everytime I watch them: After reading about his battle with anxiety it helped me become better with handeling my own struggles with it.

They are four *sadly because Nick is no longer with them ;;* cool very awesome guys with hearts of gold. Again I'm not trying to make anyone a fan that's entirely up to you. I'm just saying if you've never even watched a show don't follow the bashing band wagon. Give 'em a chance and if you still don't like them to each our own.

That's all I have to share ^^; Apologizes if nothing really makes sense XD I'm not the best at sharing my thoughts orz
