My god..Everytime I roleplay in third or first POV and someone makes it super long I get crazy. It's too long for me and then they even say "Oh I'm sorry that it's so short." It makes me think..what do you consider long?

do you tell people that it's too long for you?
i know i randomly popped up, but i'm someone typically on the opposite side of the fence (i love novella tbh), and even though i usually ask, i feel like sometimes people just go along with it without actually feeling comfortable with it.

It depends on how they make it long. If it's full of irrelevant details then nobody aint got the time for that. Hahaha if it helps the plot and builds the character then that's the best way to go hahahaha but again it depends on what they actually write XD

god, i can't do novella at all and would throw myself off a cliff if i received one, although i usually put "no novella" in my profile. i like multipara, usually ~three to four medium-length paragraphs. i would consider over six to be almost too long for me.

Lmao same. I try to mirror and I can do at least two paragraphs in third, sometimes more if I'm really into it and my partner is also putting up multiple paras. But you can't just spring novella on someone haha. Tis why I either ask their rp style or ask them to start so I know what I'm working with

it could be 5 paragraphs and 10 paragraphs is long to them,
god dammit someone just did that to me too.
