As a primarily one on one roleplayer, I have gone through a lot of things to find ppl to rp with, so I thought I'd help people who have a hard time finding their rp soulmate.
Here's a list of places where you might be able to find rp buddies.
Roleplay Republic - y'all already know how to use this one.
AsianFanfics - With all the fb rps and fanfic writers, there certainly are ppl you can rp witgh. However, I found out that making a blog post and tagging it pmrp is useless. You're much better off if you create a new story, and tag it so that people who rp with see it (for exemple: #facebookrp #auroleplay .... Or your otp/preferred group).
Omegle - It might be surprising, but that's where I was introducing to this wonderful thing called roleplaying. Just put in your preferred pairing, or your group + the word 'rp' or 'roleplay', and you should find ppl to rp with! On this website, ppl usually send in a starter (more or less detailed), and you wing it from there. Some ppl are willing to plot, though. If you have to go, you can make a tag that only the two of you will know of. The downside is that you both have to be online for this to work. So, I would advise you to get the person's kkt/kik/aff, or make a chatzy room if they don't want to share any of their accounts, so you can rp at your own pace. I must say that I don't know if omegle is very active at the moment, especially depending on your fandom, but it used to be, and I met some great roleplayers there.
Tumblr - Tumblr roleplaying has always been complicated for me, but fortunately, I kept my muse's account, and I have quite a few kpop muse tumblr that follow me, so once in a while I drop a one on one rp ad, and tag it so it's visible to the krp community. Alternatively, you might want to directlly message the blogs if you wish you rp with them one on one.
AsianRoleplay - I've never been succesful with this one and people might ignore you a lot, but I think most of the roleplaying that takes place there is quite decent. Worth having a look at, I guess.
psltown - Not what I usually go for when roleplaying, as I believe this more text based (but I could be wrong, and you could always try finding people interested in para and such, I'm sure there are some). FYI, a "number" is an AIM screen name. Everyone roleplay on AIM here.
Facebook - I've personally never tried this, but there are quite a few krp groups on facebook, so posting an ad might lead something!
Kakaotalk group chats (???) - I found someone with whom I have great rp chemistry there, but honestly it was such a shot in the dark... Join krp/[your fandom] rp group chats, and ask if anyone wants to rp with you while stating your criteria. I believe mine are somewhat strict, yet I found someone, so if it worked for me, it might work for you!
There we go, I hope I didn't forget any! Please let me know if this has helped you!
Bye!
- Your girl Skaï
