What's going on with roleplayers?

I've always used to rp for fun. But Honestly roleplaying lately makes me more anxious than I am myself. 

There's so many people that look selective and have high standards so they don't just like anything and then they might ignore you instead of being honest with you, which is really annoying honestly. 

I don't know if it's just me or other people felt the same thing or not. But the people I see around lately should loosen up a little.
