starlight entertainment has dropped an announcement regarding the issue and slight controversy surronding nbx (neo boys xtreme). in previous articles, after the announcement of the group, many fans of yunhyeong who have been following him through his journey of 11 years as a trainee trended the hashtag #justiceforyunhyeong . the company has now released a personal statement regarding the issue.

for those of you who may not know, song yunhyeong, has been a trainee for over 11 years. originally promoting as a child actor and backup dancer for different companies. he was in jyp ent for roughly around 9 years but had no signs of debuting. he then transferred over to starship ent in which after 2 years was going to debut in a new group, but the group disbanded days before the promised debut date. then recently, he was ranked number four in the survival show limitless, and showed excellent leadership for his temporary group wx (wu xing), but was not promised a permenant slot. the slot instead was given to a different trainee.

many fans of yunhyeong were disappointed, especially with the fact that yunhyeong was finally going to debut, however, they believed that he did not receive the slot that he deserved. while he was given the role to be the co-leader along with fellow member choi minho, he was only given a role as a dance and vocal. while some members received multiple important roles.

finally, starlight entertainment's co-ceo, kim jaejoong, has spoken up about the issue and the future of yunhyeong. "what has happened recently with the issues regarding trainee song yunhyeong's debut has not gone unnoticed. i have discussed with yunhyeong in a personal meeting and he told me that he wishes to train a little bit longer. it was the fault of the head of creative and talent coordinator for not discussing with yunhyeong what he truly wished for. instead, i will be taking him in to be my prodigee and he will be training longer to become a solo artist under the company. he wishes to debut with a different type of music, instead of the music being released by nbx."

also, song yunhyeong deided to take it upon himself in an instagram post to his fans regarding the issue. the message reads, "My dear, dear fans. i love you all and i hope you understand that more than anything I do want to debut. however, i will not be debuting with nbx as planned. the members of the group are all very talented and deserve to be loved. i'm not as talented as them, and that's why I didn't get any important role. i wanted to lead nbx to the best of my ability, however it seems like i won't be able too. love the group to the best of your ability because they deserve it. many of them have been through the same thing i have. and we all just want one thing - to make music. so please, stop with the #justiceforyunhyeong . the only thing that should be important is the music. and i promise that soon i will give you the music you all want from me."

although yunhyeong has recently posted the instagram post and the company has released the statement, the hashtag seems to be trending still worldwide. the company has yet to reveal if another trainee will come in and take yunhyeong's place in the group.

this is really stupid. this whole issue is overblown. yunhyeong almost debuted in a group so that his nugu fans can be happy, but no - instead he got removed from the group and has to train longer. what the hell.
