Hi,

Just a warning for anyone that may be sensitive to the topic of , you may not want to read the first paragraph.

So I reallyneed to get this off of my chest, I was reading a fanfic on Tumblr today and it wasn't the best in terms of grammar but I continued nonetheless. In the fanfic, Donghae had gotten so drunk that he passed out, Eunhyuk took him home, got him some water and then left after he made sure he was okay. Kyuhyun, his roommate came home, smoked some weed and noticed Donghae, Donghae woke up and ended up taking a few hits from the weed. He passed out again and basically Kyuhyun undresses him, fondles him, then he takes it up a notch and it turns into molestation, all while Donghae is still alseep.

It moves from molestation to full on as he proceeds to have with his unconscious body, I was so shocked to actually read something like this. The 'author' described Kyuhyun as a curious biual who was too high from the weed to control himself. Donghae was a straight male who was by said male. I don't even think she thought of it as , I didn't finish the story I left and I just thought about other fanfiction I had read when I was in highschool.

There are so many fanfiction describing ual acts as the other party sleeps. They justify it as curiosity of their uality or they're so in love with the other they just can not control themselves and I just do not understand how they think this is okay. I mostly read boyxboy fanfiction and it just makes it seem like ual assault is okay since it's with guys and they're always anyways so who cares, right? Just imagine the fanfic I read between a man and a woman, if a man had fondled and slept with an unconscious woman, they're be a whole lot of angry people, but yet people don't say anything about these fanfics.

I love fanfics but this is just very disgusting, like why would you deface your idols name like that?

Honestly then that would be for any book or reading in general that involves . The point of it happening in the story is create a feeling of empathy for the character. Whether his or her name is Sarah, Donghae, Jill, or Ben. In the writer's eyes, they aren't subjecting the idol himself to the action, but their original character that bears his name and face. I mean I do find it inappropriate and feel that for idols, it shouldn't be written. But for any active creative writer as myself, I feel it's not about the person, but the story line. :/ not defending anyone, just saying.

I really question how some people find those kind of fanfics appealing, because in the real world, thus would be considered a crime. not to mention are you not writing about yourself or fictional characters, but idols who are human as well.... but then again, who am I to judge? I was told that not everyone is like me, so if they find stuff like that appealing.. cool for them.
