Hello people! Long time no see.
I'm being clear up front that those of you that are not up for a slightly weird and somewhat funny story click away now and disclaimer, in the area I am living such behaviour is frowned upon.
So I live near a playground that was extremely convenient while I was growing up. It's on the yard of a church and surrounded by houses of people having kids my age or younger so for the past 20 years, it isn't uncomon to find large bunches of kids playing this and that. One of this houses is very low so one could easily climb on the terrace. Not that it has any view seeing that those surrounding it are taller but it was occassionally nice to climb up there and hang out, a lot of kids did it age 15+ on my days on the particular place.
Today a bunch of ten year olds climbed up there and something unusual happened. Someone came out of the house and started threatening to stab the kids and actually called the police. Again, that never happened before and that person lived there all along. Now I know for a fact that those kids are not as loud as me and my friends were (my house is like two streets over and you could hear us from my house when we were out and about) but it struck me as curious that they actually bothered the police with something so trivial.
I understand it is dangerous what they did. There was no railing either so they could have fallen and sustained severe injuries out of it but calling the police? Isn't it a little far fetched? What do you guys think?
