I am more of a mirror writer
Minhyuk grew up with many siblings, he being one of the eldest. His mother and father were both hard working farmers who loved their children all equally. The family ran their own farm, herding animals and growing their own crops in the Andes Mountains. Minhyuk grew up loving running around the mountains, jumping from rock to rock. He especially loved to sing out to the mountains, enjoying the way his voice mixed with the sound of the wind, and the echo off the mountains.
His real father had been killed when Minhyuk was only seven, by hunters from a village at the base of the Mountains. Not only his father but two of his younger sibling’s had been slaughtered. Only his mother, he and three of his siblings were able to escape their home. Having nowhere to turn they traveled to Europe to live in Amsterdam.
Minhyuk became the main home maker of the house. His mother became an ‘exotic dancer’ and bartender—the only job open and looking for a female worker. Though she was treated cruelly by all kinds of people, she held her head up in order to care for her children. Life at times was very hard, and they had to come up with new ways to pay bills and earn food. There were nights Minhyuk and his mother didn’t get to eat in order to feed his siblings. But they were to gather and that was all that mattered.
As Minhyuk grew up, he grew more and more handsome. His looks was a way to bring in money. He spent his free time on the streets singing and dancing to earn tips.
Later down the road his mother remarried another man. Wanting to take her, and her kid away from the kind of life they were living in, he took them to South Korea—his home country.
He’s all about affection and isn’t afraid to show it. There’s never a time you can find him without a smile on his face, and while he strives to be a good performer, he clearly enjoys every minute of it. He tries to make those around him happy and is a self-proclaimed mood maker. He seems really concerned about how others find his image, considering he checks social media most often out of the members and has a habit of asking others for feedback. While he’s such a kind-hearted and loving person, I feel as though he hopes for everyone else to be the same and tends to get a little offended or hurt by those that are harsh or straightforward, though he takes the criticism well once he bounces back.
