0847 - Don't be mad.

Zhang Yixing was a well-known doctor in his time. Reknown for mixing Western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Zhang had impressive knowledge of prescription drugs, but also herbal remedies; joints and blood vessels, and also all the humours and pressure points. His methods were tailored to his patients, and not one of them was ever unsatisfied with his service.

As such, he was one of the people chosen to be cloned for Planet 58. A doctor, or any person with such valuable medical knowledge, would undoubtedly be vital to the survival of the clones. Yixing, with his caring nature and seemingly supernatural ability to find the best remedy for any situation, was the ideal doctor for the project, and he willingly subjected himself to the process.

7480 - Go to hell.

While many clones of Dr. Zhang were made, none of them were checked before being put into cryostasis. As such, it was not unusual that some of them might have defects.

7480 is one of those defective clones. Maybe it occured in the crash- maybe it was a defect from the moment he was created. Whatever the reason, 7480 - using the name Lay - shows none of the empathy his genetic donor had. Armed with all the knowledge Yixing possessed, Lay quickly made a name for himself as a dangerous fighter, quick and accurate. The use of pressure points made him deadly to an unsuspecting opponent; the knowledge of a human's weakest joints made him terrifying for an unprepared foe. If Yixing knew how to fix someone, Lay knew it was a hell of a lot easier to break them.

 

But Yixing's memories, his personality, are still there, somewhere within Lay. He just doesn't know it yet.
