BACKGROUND
Aburame Hotaka is nothing like most ninjas his age. He is very mature and independent and rarely allows himself to let his guard down in public. Hotaka had lost his parents when he was eight years kld while they were on their separate missions and he took it very well. He was use to being alone and almost forgotten by everyone. Since he was often left out of many things growing up, he spent all of his free time training himself with his insects and quietly studying more and more about them for future missions that he wouldn't quiet help out on since his group thought he was useless and a never spoke to him.

Now a fully fledged chūnin, Hotaka does his best for his team and is a bit more open about himself though he still rarely show any any emotion around them. Although he does come across as a know it all, Hotaka had never had the chance to make a friend as a child because of his awkwardness and the fact that he doesn't fight his own battles like the other ninja do. He calls it a flaw but the others say its cheating and he shouldn't be considered as a 'proper ninja' compared to the others in the village. He proves people wrong time and time again, changing their expectations of both him and his clans ninja skills as ninja like before.
