BACKGROUND

after the death of her mother when she was thirteen, her father was never the same again. Every emotion he felt would be taken out on her. Whether it was anger or ual frustration, she was on the receiving end. For years she managed to cope with it, although her coping MECHANISMs weren't very orthodox : self harm, smoking, alcohol, you name it, kristen had tried it. It was rough but she still struggled THROUGh. It wasn't until a few months before her seventeenth birthday that Kristen had finally snapped. She couldn't take it anymore, she needed to get as far away from her father as she possible could...and to do that she needed money. Kristen wasn't keen on the methods she was going to have to use to get that money, but after being left with little to no choice, the girl BEGAN working on the streets. She started off with ion, people would pay her upfront by the hour AND in return she'd give them use of her body. A simple transaction. But it didn't stay that way for long. Kristen had already started to gain quite the reputation in the area, in fact, she'd bet on the fact that there wasn't a single junkie, drug dealer or gang member in the town that didn't know who she was...and with this new found 'fame' came new opportunities. Kristen began working for a gang, she wasn't an important member, but being young and naive made it easier for them to convince her that she was. In reality, Kristen was just a -toy for the other members. But it wasn't until she'd been working for them for a few months THAT she actually realised it. Kristen once again went on the run, the only difference being that this time she was running from AN ENTIRE gang rather than just her father. She knew if she was going to HAVE any chance of making a new life for herself she'd need to get out of the country and with that thought in mind, Kristen packed everything she thought she'd need into the bag she used to use for school, including the money she'd made and booked the first affordable flight she could find. That was the flight that led her to south Korea. AFTER COUNTLESS HOURS OF SEARCHING THE INTERNET, KRISTEN FINALLY MANAGED TO FIND A UNIVERSITY THAT WOULD TAKE HER ON AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS... SHE HAD HOPE. KRISTEN MOVED INTO THE DORMS AS SOON AS SHE POSSIBLY COULD, OVERJOYED THAT SHE NOW HAD SOMEWHERE SAFE TO STAY. 

Personality wise, kristen is a complex character. She's timid but wouldn't back DOWN from a fight, quiet but still friendly and broken but still capable of kindness. To sum her up, Kristen is just a damaged girl in desperate need of love and support. 

Storylines

Maybe you're throwing a party and you want to impress your friends, maybe your crush is into the 'bad boy' type and you don't quite fit that label yet, whatever your reasoning, you need Kristen's help.
