Note to self: Taemin is half god, half phoenix. Zeus had finally had enough of Aphrodite having relationships with others beside her husband, so decided to punish the goddess to be tortured by the phoenix itself. Feeling heartbroken for the role it had to partake in, the phoenix burst into flames before Aphrodite and the goddess felt so moved she cried into the ashes, thus Taemin was born. He is cursed however to live his life searching for his soul mate, whom whenever he finds he has but a single day to spend with before they share a kiss, causing Taemin to burst into flames and be reborn without memories of the life he'd just spent. This is Aphrodite's true punishment, to watch her poor child go through such torment for eons.
