daisy grew up in an extremely artistic household. her mother was a photographer and her father was a successful, locally known musician. to say that art was in her blood would be cliche, but not wrong. growing up around her artsy parents made her want to puruse it as well. it wasn't until she began taking highschool level art classes that she realized that art was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Although she knew that she wanted to do art and she was quite good at it, being an artist didn't quite pay the bills. she knew it would be hard, especially since her upbringing was relatively modest. so, to pay the bills she began to pick up shifts at the local bookstore. working at the bookstore made her more attuned to others around her. sitting around in a dusty bookshop all day was a fantastic way to people watch. when the store wasn't busy, she would pull out her sketchpad and draw portraits of the shop's patrons.

Even if the bookstore brought her opportunities that she loved, she would by lying if she said there wasn't something missing from her life. daisy felt that because she's young, she should be out exploring the world. so, she came to camp as an art assistant to do just that. her main goal for her time at camp is to meet new people and maybe paint a few more portraits to grow her collection.

OOC Corner: Hey there! I'm Madeline and my timezone is GMT-6 (a.k.a. central standard time). I'm relatively new to doing roleplays, so I hope to grow in my writing and characterization skills. I don't really have a favorite genre, I'm really okay with anything. My preferred point of view is third, but I'll work with first it you're more comfortable with that.
