Kim Taehyung is 20 years old and is a peasant baker in the village. He is always working from around sun up, to sundown, and is the only worker under his boss Mr. Hong. The thing about working under Mr. Hong is that if Taehyung ever messes up, or makes a mistake, big or small, he is punished quite harshly by his boss. He gets beaten, and abused phisically and ually by his boss, yet he still smiles at each and every customer he comes in contact with. He tries to keep a positive outlook on everything and is a huge worrier. He is quite a people lover, and tries his best to please everyone, although he tries not to get too close for fear of breaking his façade in front of anyone. There are few who he willingly opens up to with his true feelings, and he trusts them deeply. His dream is to become either a personal chef for the emperor or famous vocalist within the palace.
