Park Sooyoung was forcefully dragged, kicking and screaming, away by the will of her own grandparents, to live and work in a better life, as a servant to the royals of the Park Dynasty/Line. She was trained by a middle aged strict women for a couple of her younger years, until she was mature enough to be sent at 17 to work officially at the Palace. Joy is a bright spirited, hopefully girl, and man does her smile light up a room like sunshine. She’s just as her nickname was given; Joy. She works hard, is always on top of things, but she dreams of seeing and being with her peasant grandparents once again, as a full happy family and no worries of money or starvation.She very honestly fears that they’ll be dead or beat up the next time she see’s them. Secretly, when she is sent to go on a delivery run into town for the royals, she does business and then slips away too her grandparents small cottage. But these moments with them are so short before she has to go back to the Palace. And it’s even more painful when those couple minute hello’s take a month or two to occur.
