Wang Junkai, or just Karry, is born in Chongqing, China but had moved to Hainan when he was about a year old. He has an older sister and is very close to her. Junkai usually is a shy, quiet person around people he doesn’t know and has a habit of stuttering when he is nervous. When he was alone, he would sing, dance and rap in his room or would go to the resort his parents owned they had passed away and would play the piano in the lobby. He was enrolled in ballet, hip hop and jazz classes as well as gymnastics since his mother wanted him to keep busy after school and his father had no say to it. Karry wanted to become an idol after seeing one of his favourite groups shoot a music video near the resort with one of his closest friends when he was 9. He was signed to a local entertainment company after a talent contest and had started acting in shows. Karry decided to take a chance and transfer to Crown Royal Entertainment after 3 years of being with the previous company and train as an idol as he continued to act in several dramas.
