SHE WAS RAISED AND TAUGHT TO BE A RESPECTABLE, ELEGANT, AND INDEPENDENT WOMAN BY HER MOTHER (WHO SOON BECAME A SINGLE PARENT) AFTER HER FATHER'S UNEXPLAINED DEATH ONE LATE AFTERNOON, WHEN ALL OF THE KIDS HAD WENT AWAY TO THEIR GRANDPARENTS’ HOUSE FOR SUMMER. IT WAS HARD, WATCHING HER MOTHER GO THROUGH MAJORITY OF THE AVERAGE STRUGGLES JUST TO GET BY ON RENT AND FEED HER THREE KIDS, WITH LILY BEING THE ELDEST. LILY WAS ALWAYS DADDY’S LITTLE GIRL, SINCE HER MOTHER NEVER DID HAVE A LIKING TOWARDS THE ONLY DAUGHTER IN THE HOUSEHOLD, WHEREAS, HER BROTHERS GOT PLENTY OF FAVORITISM. BUT, THAT NEVER STOPPED LILY FROM SMILING.
JUST LIKE THE STUDENT BODY AND TEACHERS HAD VOTED HER AS “MOST LIKELY TO SUCCEED” AND “BEST SMILE” THROUGHOUT HER ENTIRE SCHOOL, LILY WAS POSITIVE IN MAKING A NAME FOR HERSELF – AND HELPING HER FAMILY.
DESPITE HER DISPLEASURE WITH HER MOTHER REMARRYING AND USING THAT AS ANOTHER EXCUSE TO “ADVISE” LILY ABOUT HER LIFE, THE TWO HAD SOON ESTABLISHED IN A BUSINESS TOGETHER. With how big the new wave of idols and different styles of music were becoming, I waited long and hard to finally score some tickets to see my favorite group perform live this year. Though the concert was multiple trips away and out of my homeland, it was worth the wait. I couldn't miss it, not this time. The ride with me and my friend was pretty hectic and filled with screams and cheers, but in the end, it was worth. Little did I know, the moment we parked alongside a very large bus - would be the beginning of our story crossing. Now, my friend swore UP and DOWN that the tour bus we were parked beside on the left side, since there was two - was the one that belonged to my favorite group. The dare was to simply go and introduce myself and see if the person I admired from the group was around, so I could give them a letter I personally wrote. But that all backfired when I left my friend's side to do just that, and security came and swept the entire place. The hairdresser that pushed me inside must have thought I was just another employee, because she told me to sit down and get to work. Despite my confusion, when I went to go take a bathroom break, not only did my luck get worse, but after turning my back for three minutes and trying to leave when I was done, I realized I was locked inside the stall. And struggling got me no where. It landed me slipping on the floor, hitting my head, and knocking myself out in the process. When I awoke, I was on one of the bunkers inside of the bus, and was surrounded by faces I had never seen before... And that was when it hit me, I was on the wrong tour bus and crap - we were already out of the state I wanted to meet my band in. And that was how we met.

Why did I even sign up for dance lessons? God, this is embarrassing, and the fact that you’re laughing at my mistakes and calling them “cute” is more laughable on your part. I took this class in order to help relieve me of the stress I feel, or the lonely nights I end up spending every other day. Gradually, I find myself getting better every time we take the chance in getting together and practicing our dance routine more – but I also get to know more about you. And… You’re more interesting than the music we sensually move to. I find myself getting lost in the dance and often, your eyes as well.

You're a little troublemaker! Whenever I look up, you're either in need of some sort of help, or calling me from the police station. I don't get why you feel the need to bring yourself down so low, when you're better than this. I know you get tired of hearing me scold you, but what else can I do? You don't want to listen to me, or your parents - or anyone else that tries to offer help because "you know it all". But when you get in trouble, who do you call?
