Say hello to Byun Baekhyun, your extremely typical rich kid. He has it all : the bratty attitude, wealthy parents, huge mansion, girls and guys swooning over him, the whole lot. Well, he is missing one thing. The ability to calm down.

Growing up with a silver, no, golden spoon in his mouth, he didn't have to ask twice for things.  When little Jeongie in pre school refused to give Baekhyun the red crayon, let's just say that Baekhyun's scissors became the same color. Less than a month after that incident, he threw a tantrum during recess. Teachers and students found him wailing and yelling in anger at poor Mimi,  her unconscious body laying in a pool of crimson next to a jagged rock. She had suffered several blows to the head, chest and neck. Thankfully, they had gotten there in time. A second later and she would've passed away from blood loss. A week later, she died from an internal wound. Baekhyun was interrogated by the police, even though he was merely a child, yet they got nothing out of him. All he said was "I want my apple juice."

After eight relatively quiet years (he had gotten into tons of fights and stabbed someone again), his parents finally decided to have him take a psychiatric evaluation. He was diagnosed with an anger disorder called intermittent explosive disorder. His mother denied it, not believing her lovely baby was "ill". His father, being a serious business man, took the news silently with a blank expression. The psychiatrists suggested that they fulfill any of Baekhyun's desires. They warned his parents, explaining that the wrong move could cost them their lives. His mother was offended by how they acted as if Baekhyun was a monster. His father, however, simply nodded.

Baekhyun wasn't entirely rotten. Whenever he felt furious, he would remember his therapist's words. "Go to your happy place. What makes you happy?" Baekhyun liked to sing and play the piano. Correction, he was addicted. He was stuck on the beautiful notes that flowed out from his piano as he pressed the keys. He took the challenge of hitting high notes and testing how high he could go. It made his heart flutter in joy, as cheesy as it sounded. He actually felt....peaceful.

His parents encouraged his passion of music. His father wasn't that pleased since Baekhyun was his only heir, but it was better than Baekhyun attacking someone. When the boy stated that he was to go to Solace University, they were okay with it. He is now enrolled into the University majoring in music with a more than full bank account.
