Background:
Aileron was born into a family of doomsday preppers,who lived off grid on a small farm at the base of the mountain range on Bylot. When the computers went offline knowledge of their existence was lost and they were basically forgotten. so Aileron lived with his family until sometime in his 9th year when the family farm was found by a group of raiders. Aileron's father had a large stash of weapons and the raiders wanted the bullets. They wanted them so badly that they killed the entire family to get them. Aileron hid before they could find him but once they had found the guns they looted the farm and kept moving leaving Aileron an orphan and the soul owner of the farm. Now a 9 year old, even a very industrious 9 year old, can only do so much to run a farm. Struggling against all odds he worked to keep his farm together like is father had before him. It wasn't long though, before nature began to seek to reclaim the farm. Unable to plant the fields by himself the fields lay fallow and livestock began to disappear. Aileron was pestered by a pack of wolves from the mountains that come to eat the chickens. It was only a matter of time really before he found himself at the mercy of the wolf pack. On a strange turn of events one of the pack omega's saw something in him and took him under her care. 
Aileron is very very secretive about his past, as his experiences with humans not related to him have been less than pleasant. 
The second half of his history, the public half, is that he rode in from his farm to gather supplies and never went back when he was 15. he stayed at the tavern and became their apprentice chef, by 18 he had out preformed the older chef and took his place as head chef when his mentor retired, by the age of 23 he was cooking for calv as well.
