BACKGROUND 

Dahye grew up in Godric's Hollow, and was raised knowing all this time that she indeed was a witch. Being the person she was, she studied years ahead of time, nose-deep in asubstantial expanse of books and various forms of literature, until the fateful day came that brought her the esteemed letter from Hogwarts. Despite being an overt socialite, Dahye's studious, mature and wise-beyond-her-years tendencies landed her in the Ravelcaw house. Her friends often gifted her with the name "GryffenClaw" because she exhibited so many attributes of both houses. After being sorted, the years passed her by incredibly fast, and if it wasn't for the vivacity of her school life-- it would have passed in a blur. Now she was entering her last year at Hogwarts, her classes being the least of her worries as a promising future as a Dragon Trainer approached further.

Despite being in a nearly fatal attack by a Hungarian Horntail as a young child, Dahye held onto her fascination with dragons, a hobby and love that carried her through her years with persistence. Even though the girl is confident, astute, and kind on the surface, her burn and scar riddled chest, back and thighs has led her to be very shy about the clothes she wears being too revealing. She also hates being touched simply because you can feel the thick scar tissue protruding through her clothing. This created a divide between possible platonic, romantic and intimate relations because she continues to remain insecure about potential suitors or even friends being offputed by how "ugly" they could possibly perceive her body to be. Now as a young adult, a ripe 21-- she has yet to experience any intimacies beyond hand holding, and a sole kiss she received from a boy long long ago in kindergarten. Suffice to say however she still flirts and can be very minx-like around people she finds attractive, however as soon as they reach out for a touch she runs for the hills, no matter how much she craves for it.

Even still, she holds one more secret. That of which takes the form of a Peruvian Vipertooth. It is extremely illegal to have one undocumented, let alone one on Hogwart's Grounds, yet Dahye has managed to keep the dragon hidden for almost two years. She fondly named the dragon Felix, and after a year of intense training, copious amounts of burnt rope, and a few unlucky centaurs later...Felix is now a dragon devoted to it's trainer, with quite the amiable attitude---that is---if he likes you. Dahye keeps him deep within the Forbidden Forest, and has trained him to conceal himself from groundskeepers and any prying eyes. Although sporadically, there has been rumours flying around that a dragon seeks constant refuge on the border of the Great Lake. A rumour of which Dahye denies believing wholeheartedly to her friends, yet snickers quietly to herself when she is alone.

Dahye is kindhearted, loyal, and incredibly witty. She's the kind to crack jokes and play pranks---as long as it wasn't during class----and the one to offer up vital words of wisdom to any who'd ask, even her enemies. Upon first glance she seems very well-rounded. Pretty face, excellent marks, and blossoming talent, however underneath her [ literally ] scorched skin, lies plaguing insecurities that have at times hindered her from essential progression and self efficacy skills.

Despite being an incredibly intelligent woman, Dahye always saw herself as lacking, simply because she held herself to such high standards. Unlike Slytherin kids who often compared themselves to their fellow students, and were praised for being above them, Dahye and even some other Ravenclaw students competed and regarded themselves with higher standards. They strived to be like Dumbledore, like Merlin--and when people like Dahye came up short, even in the slightest---it would start to crackle away at their "sturdy" foundation. 

Aside from an internal point of view, Dahye struggles with some other things. She never thought of herself to be vain, but she was undeniably a young woman who cared about how others perceived her visibly. The only problem there, was that beneath the layers of thick clothing she threw on each day, lay a scar-riddled body that completely tore down her self esteem. She thought for awhile, that if she covered up all the time, and steered away from people's touch, that she would still be perceived as beautiful---however these little compulsions turned into a daily routine that severed essential bonds, slowed the growth of her journey into womanhood, and often left her feeling very alone. 
 

 MAGICAL TIDBITS

01. She enjoys magical beasts, and completely absorbs herself within the study, and care of some instead of say, a cliche ravenclaw hobby such as book reading or lecturing ignorant Hufflepuffs
02. Her patronus is a Kingfisher
03. She is a registered Animagus, of which is a jet black panther. As an Animagi, she likes to explore the Forbidden Forest and mingle with other creatures, bond with them, and protect them from humans. 
04. Her wand is of rigid flexibility, yields at 12''3/4, constructed with Ivy wood, and has a Dragon Hearstring Core. She and her wand are closely bonded. There has been a few incidences of her peers trying to play pranks on her by stealing her wand, which led to the wand backfiring on the pranksters. One of which now has a permanent third .
05. Dahye's favorite spell is "Avis" of which she uses frequently in duels. It's a spell she's used to send a flock of rather nippy birds hurdling towards her opponet
06. She's really fond of shy people, for her kind heartedness gets them to open up. She also finds that they are the kindest, and most loyal friends one can acquire.
07. Dahye has very few people sanctioned allowance to touch her beyond wrist grabbing and hand holding, so if she permits you to do so, you mean a lot to her.
