Everything happened in a blur, rosé runs up to where their home used to stand and the only thing that came into her view is ashes and fire, her parents is nowhere to be seen. Tears started to form into her eyes as her eyes landed into a half burned picture of her with her family smiling brightly. She dropped on her legs, clutching the picture tightly to her chest as she cried harder.
Rosé gasps for air as she sits up and leaned on the bed's headboard beads of sweat on her forehead down to her jaw hand on her chest as she look around, nightmare, she then took a deep breath calming her self, it is just a nightmare, a memory from the past. Rosé washed her hands to her face as she remember her past once again.
She grew up as a part of a pack that lived far away from the civilisation with her mother being one of the healers and her father as one of the guardians. Chaeyoung or Rosé as what people call her grew up to be different than the other wolves around her, you see her pack is known to have a white fur with dusting of black but rosé however have a dark brown fur and a blazing blue eyes. Despite having different feature from the others, she lived happily with her pack. Her peaceful life came crushing down when a pack of wolves attacked them and ruined everything, living her as the only survivor. It happened when she's out in the meadows finding something to brought back to her mother and father, probably to the alpha too. When she return the whole place is on fire, she has no choice but to leave and find a place to stay. Being weak and still young, but not that too young, Rosé fell down and lets the darkness consumed her. That's when The Dense Forest Pack found her near their territory, and took care of her despite their fierce nature. That's how her life started with the Dense Forest Pack and being with them makes her happy and comfortable.

No, she's not the mate of the current alpha. But why matriarch then? Everyone viewed her as their mother because of her motherly nature, she takes care every wolf in their pack, be it young or old. She takes time to check on the guardians, seers, healers, foragers, scouts and the wolf in training. She never missed any chance to play with the kids or help the mothers in their chores. Rosé as a wolf of course wants to meet her mate, but seems like fate doesn't what it. Up until now she haven't meet her mate, but sets aside all her mate thoughts and just focus on helping the alpha, beta and delta on taking care of the whole pack.
