Oh Sehun was born into royalty, his father was the Prince of the Vampire Empire, the second Prince of their city. His father was more of a dictator than a leader that people trusted, people adored. He hated humans, and put most of them in the most horrible conditions if they weren't Registered. Humans hated him, but vampires loved them. He allowed hunting on any human that was out past curfew, and the inner hunter within the vampires grew wild and started chewing on humans even when they weren't out of their homes. Humans grew scared of vampires, and many hated him and many loved him. He created camps for humans that wanted to live to work slave in, but even then they got killed. When Sehun's father was assasinated, humans rejoiced and vampires grew sour. This had created yet another division between the human and vampire population.
Having such a powerful and infamous father, people expected Sehun to be the same. Hatred to humans, allowing vampires to nearly deplete the food source. But Sehun has his reasons to not humans, and the reason why he doesn't hate humans is the reason his father hates them. Sehun's mother was fascinated by humans, thought their lineage, their history was completely mystifying. Because of this, Sehun started to grow interest in humans as well, and that had made him curious towards the race. He didn't adore them like his mother, oh no, he was purely and utterly interested in them. Their brains, their behaviour, their bodies, everything. Sehun's father thought they were really nothing at the time, that is until his wife had run away to live outside the walls, and Sehun presumes she had gotten killed. She wanted to find a place where vampires didn't exist, and that was when Sehun had learned that his mother was human, and humans were just too mortal, as his father had said, and had extracted the vampire venom into his skin, making Sehun not a half vampire like he and his wife had wanted him to be, but a full vampire, a master vampire.
And so now, Sehun rules the city,
