Dong Youngbae, or commonly known as "Taeyang", is a loyal member of the famous Big Bang. He's also a working songwriter with a number of independent singles such as Rise that has enabled him to attract even more fans and soon became an international sensation.
But, there's more to him than meets the eye. Since Taeyang was a young man, not even in his twenties, he identified his orientation as gay. As someone who was born and raised in a loving and accepting family, his confession brought out the very opposite of his parents. Taeyang was kicked out of the house and since then, experienced countless betrayals. His friend, a close friend of his, who was supposed to keep his orientation a secret, leaked the news out to the school and throughout his years in high school, Taeyang faced numerous death threats and harrassments every day with no one to be there by his side.
This was an ongoing predicament until the end of his academic years and involved himself more in his new group. Big Bang was Taeyang's escape from reality. He was successful in so many ways, learned more and more, indulged himself in different aspects of music as well as his taste in fashion. The young man even tattooed himself as a reminder of his successes, as well as hiding his scars from the past. Despite some fans who found out about his orientation, Taeyang still faced oppression from haters and homophobics. However, that didn't stop him from being where he is right now, though he may have scars etched upon his heart and skin that would last forever.

Despite Taeyang's charismatic facade and "daddy-like" persona, he is actually a really sensitive, grown man. He loves little kids the most because he says that they portray the very purity and innocence of this world. They belong to a place that they've yet to discover themselves But he would like to be there to be able to support them in achieving their goals and dreams.
Other than being sensitive, Taeyang is actually a very strong person with a big heart. He's very accepting, which was something that served as a facade of his family. When he's accepting, he's accepting in every which way. He finds flaws to be very beautiful and faults to be astonishing because the two make a person very uniqute and different from one another. He's very loving and almost like a parent/big brother type. And by parent, meaning "mommy" not really "daddy".
Lastly, Taeyang is a sensitive person and that comes in many ways. He tends to read between the lines and easily assume the very first emotion that's being given off from sentences. If it seems cold, it's cold, and that brings him great sadness. If it seems happy, it's happy, and that brings him great joy. And if it's something that's not about him, and it's about someone else, he can get jealous. And very jealous indeed.

Though it may have seen like a casual conversation, and Taeyang got to know the older man a bit more and also his children, Taeyang knew he had fallen for him quickly. It was as if love at first sight if one could put it. But even though he was quite obvoius, Taeyang made sure that the two of them took their time. He never rushed of course. Maybe there were times when he was perhaps rather clingy and pushy, but Ricky understood and patient. And in turn, so was Taeyang.

My name is Hannah, and yes you might be a bit not surprised that it's a girl playing a guy. Especially someone who bottoms. Hahaha.
