Description
Birth name: J-Hope
New name: Jung Hoseok
Age: 22
Orientation: Unknown to him (but likely homoual)
Former job: Assassin
New job: Forensic lab assistant
Real background:
Hoseok had only one job in life: to please his master. Whether it be getting him dinner, cleaning the rooms, pleasuring him in bed or getting rid of his scum enemies, Hoseok had to do it all. Born into one of the most brutal mafia gangs known to the city, he was programmed to function like the most obedient pet ever right from birth. All you had to do was give him the command. Of course, many people thought he was a mindless robot without s heart or feelings — in truth, he was a spineless coward who was too used to bring in familiar territory to stand up for himself. He could have run away. Easily. At the age of 10. But Hoseok chose to stay with his master: he was fed, treated "fairly well", had a bed to sleep in, was educated and got a monthly allowance — why would he want to give all that up?
But when he was suddenly thrown into chaotic storm following a raid on his master, Hoseok had no option but to flee. Helpless, lost and inexperienced in the real world, he had no clue where to start. Did he get a job? What job could he get anyway? Do people randomly hire assassins? Lost was Hoseok for a while until he stumbled upon a certain programme. It almost seemed like he could start anew here. Maybe this was time for him to turn a new leaf. And so J-Hope was born.
Real personality:
Hoseok is a people-pleaser. He would do anything, mostly without any questions asked, because he's been taught to do so from birth. Timid, quiet and docile, Hoseok is not a person most people would feel threatened by. And that is what allowed him to excel at his former job. He used people's underestimation of him to his advantage and always got the job done. However, now that he is past those days of his life, he is trying to reform. Hoseok is trying to be more cheery and energetic, and try to stand by his wishes, but there are several times where he would prefer to simply submit to the other. It is hard to change an instinct that has been engraved into you since birth.
How he ended up here: He overheard lawyers talk about this programme and researched into it; eventually he landed here.
