they say that you can't escape your genetics, as it's the reason you are who you are. it's something inevitable, that you can't escape no matter how hard you try to distance yourself from. you'll always have ties with family. 

she was born as the daughter of a head gang leader, nortorious for their extensive drug business. unsure of where her mother was, she was raised to be a figher and a dealer. her father wanted her to be a strong, independent woman who he didn't have to worry about and who could fight off a whole group of men, and he succeeded in that. however, an innocent trip to the convenience store in which doyeon would be casted into an entertainment company would change all of that. 

sensing that getting into entertainment would be an escape from the underground world, she quickly accepted the offer and started training much to her father's dismay. somehow, her label didn't find out about her background nor did anyone some to the label to bother her. she's been keeping herself quiet, not exactly planning on being in the limelight as being a part of produce 101 was already a little too much for her comfort. however, it was through this she found an escape and she cherishes her work dearly.
