Background story: Tae-Seung may appear to look like your average 21 year old. But, if there's one thing that isn't average about him, it's his insatiable lust for blood. He's been undead since the 1600's after being attacked by a rogue vampire named Nikolas on dark, cold night in 1604. Despite the fact that he's been a vampire for a little well over 4 centuries, he still can't control his need for blood. Which can cause quite a problem fo him when he's trying his hardest not to turn Hani. He has managed to adapt to all the trends and changes over the years he's been a vampire, which has made it a lot easier for him to blend in. Tae-Seung was attacked by Nikolai again in 1996. He barely managed to crawl to the house of an expecting couple... Hani's parents. They had no idea that they were nursing a vampire back to health, but they did. Tae-Seung vowed to protect Hani for as long as she lived and isn't afraid to hurt anyone to do so.
