his background
jaebum is a lucky man, blessed with the presence of his family all alive and well. the war did affect all wolves, but his family chose to flee and hide in the wake of danger. Early on, they knew they would need to camoflage with the humans to survive.
his mother was a professor of lupine history and animal psychology across breeds at the first azrael prep, and his father was a respected wolf who had come from a lineage of fire wolves who were so free that they seemed to be lost relics to modern times.
his mother is a water affinity who stumbled across his father during research when she was getting tenureship with the school, and it was on this expedition where they met and first fell in love. Mated by first scent, they've been together every since.
jaebum is a bright child, patience honed over the years by his feral father and it took them all a long time to get accustomed to the human world. Lu han's father became a house husband and jaebum's mother focused on homeschooling jaebum.
they had been isolated and integrated so well into society that the war simply passed over them and thankfully, they all were safe. jaebum knows it's a very touchy subject, to be so blessed that his family is alive and well, often he prefers to instead offer support to his fellow wolves ravaged by sadness and their dark pasts.
he was homeschooled for many years, but jaebum's mother didn't just teach him about the human side of him: she told him everything, from hunters to wolves to humans, and what he was. She well equiped him for his life as a wolf and was the one to introduce him to the school. When they fled, he was too young to remember friends, but he has gained some really important people here at azrael.
now, he's a senior at this university and feels like he's ready to take on the world. He's a powerful lightning wolf with an exceptional handle on his affinity. He has a limit to his control of lightning where if he doesn't keep total control of the element, he could injure himself very badly. He needs to be careful when wielding his element in thunderstorms: an incident from his teenage years still scars him to this day.
lichtenburg figures spider his left arm, his left shoulder, and across his back up through the other arm, showing the path of lightning from one finger tip to another. never again will he be that reckless.
his wolf looks very much like his mother's wolf: long grey-near-blue coat that make him seem bigger than his lithe form lets on. but he has his fathers amber eyes, burning bright with ambition when he shifts. he prefers sometimes to be in his wolf state where he doesn't need to talk. he can lay about with out a worry.

lorem ipsumI go by many names, but most commonly I'm called Amir. I'm in the EST (GMT -5:00) and I am much more free in the evenings than most days. I'm a college student on summer break, and have been on RPR a long time.
I have adminned, opened my own rp's before, and have had several rounds around the place. I've seen the best and worst parts of roleplaying and still find it to be a fun pastime, and I'm long beyond the point of prioritizing real life over this place. I do a multitude of genres, scenarios, and love roleplaying hte full spectrum of plots--my favorite has to be comedy though.
My DON'Ts are simple:
-- NO roleplaying self-harm or suicide. Talking about it is fine, but I am not comfortable being put in that position of "saving your character" but I love hurt/comfort otherwise. I'm so down to do a rescue plot but suicide is a particularly heavy topic.
-- NO godmodding, simple. I will kindly point it out to you. Please don't write my character's thoughts or actions for me unless its in a starter where I've given permission.
-- NO carrying IC drama OOC. I keep it pretty black and white; none of the stuff we let happen IC crosses into our OOC situations. I would love to kill any ambiguity though, so if there is particular concern about my attitude towards you or my attitude about you, please do approach me in PM and we can MOST DEFINITELY talk about it!! I actively want to avoid miscommunication.
