Background: Siwan was actually quite carefree when he was younger, a playful and fun kid to be around. He would be the type to never really pay attention in school and things- luckily, he somehow managed to still pass his classes with okay grades which was weird, considering how much more socializing he did compared to actual work- and to young him, what even was studying when he came back from school? He spends his years like that, until he’s 16. 16 is when he experiences his first love- and it’s all so weird and unfamiliar.. but it’s pleasant, and he knows that. He falls in love quickly, too quick for anyone to save him from falling into this pleasure that he discovers is a pain. And at first, it’s good. They’re cute together, they trust each other, it was all words of sweetness and just softness in general. That’s until it happens- he gets beat up in the changing rooms. Siwan had experienced a bit of bullying before, but never anything to this extent- and then he hears them calling him , and then he notices the person who he had trusted, who he had gave his heart to was coming up to him and beating him too. He had gave the wrong person his trust. Siwan hears the gossip later, and he realizes that his “lover” was just one of those bully’s friends- and the bullies thought that since to them, Siwan looked like a “sissy” he must be gay so they wanted to try it out- and they got the results they wanted. It’s like everyone starts turning on him- and the people who don’t, just get pushed away by Siwan himself. He can’t trust them anymore. As he shuts himself away from the rest of society, to be honest, he’s left with practically nothing to do, and really, just pain. So he throws himself into studying- which is ironic, since before this it was practically the one thing that he didn’t do. It pays off quite well though; he’s able to just push away the feelings of pain and everything else, and his marks rush up to all A’s so so quickly- really, quickly is a understatement, it’s practically after the first day he does that his marks go up by so so much. Siwan can’t help but find it a bit weird how he can be so good at this despite him never putting any sort of effort into it before. It’s weird, but he doesn’t really give it more than a thought. It all seems to connect when he turns 18, and he’s finally told by his dad about who he really is- about the fact that he’s actually a demigod and his mom is actually Athena. His dad decides to send him to this camp after he tells him that- probably because he thought that a place like that would be best for Siwan- maybe he’d even end up being at least a little bit more social, his dad thinks (he had liked that Siwan was studying more, but he wasn’t the type who’d want him to give up on social life completely like Siwan did at that time). Of course, that’s not what happens because his dad doesn’t even know why Siwan’s like that, but he at least tried.
Personality: Siwan’s the type of person to be really closed up, as it’s honestly all that he knows after his past. He’s someone who takes a long time to trust others- after the incident, he doesn’t even know if he wants to give someone his trust anymore. In his insides though, he’s actually still a bit playful and he’s actually pretty kind- of course, those are insides that are very very hidden beneath his cover of being serious and stern. Siwan really isn’t someone who you can take away from his mask easily. If you want to, you’re going to have to be ready to take the time to break it down.
